Due to the coronavirus pandemic, trade fair operators, notably gem and jewelry trade shows, were compelled to postpone their activities indefinitely.
To keep their businesses afloat, several of them have switched to virtual events. As an idea, this month, the Indian Fashion Jewelry & Accessories Show - one of India's biggest fashion jewelry trade fair - was hosted as the first online jewelry event. Furthermore, the Antwerp World Diamond Centre and the Israeli Diamond Institute partnered to organize the first online diamond jewelry trade exhibition. The event was held at the Virtual Diamond Boutique from March 30 to April 4, 2020.
Last but not least, the Jewelry Virtual Trade Fair can be an additional virtual event platform premium choice. The platform, which has been up and running since 2018, is similar to a jewelry showroom. It is also useful for exchanging information about jewelry trends and marketplaces.
Over 800 members from more than 60 countries are presently on the site, including manufacturers, wholesalers, online merchants, and designers. It will take place on the 22nd and 24th of June, 2021.
If you want to sell more and make your company more noticeable to others, you should absolutely attend these shows. It is not always pricey - sometimes even free - and you may be surprised. Never, ever limit your options, especially during these difficult times. Any chance is beneficial to us, gem sellers!
